I wonder how he practices his faith. Because he is divorced he can't take communion and thus can't be a member of the church.

How we think: "Oh, how terrible for him to leave behind his poor wife."
His thinking: "B***h! She gets to go to Heaven first?! I'm out of here!"

JK, but seriously, I don't think of him all that fondly.

    Okay then.

Newt is just terrible. First he cheated on his wife who had CANCER. He gave her the divorce papers in her hospital room. How about those deals with Fannie May and Freddie Mac. Do I even have to bring up his Lunar Mining Colony. He wants the Moon to be the 51st State for God's sake! This man is unfit to be president. I don't give him any elbow room for Perry endorsing him, that is how much I dislike him. He needs to get out and take those other four phonies with him, now!

I do like the idea of a more agressive NASA budget, Although i would like to get a isolationist president.

I don't know everything about the Republican party, but wouldn't the four big runners leaving kind of utterly dissovle any chance for a Republican president this time around?

I am a big Conservative Republican, but I am not going to stand up and lie to myself about these four. They are the lowest of the low and I am upset this is what are party is throwing to us. Barrack Obama needs to be reelected. My guy is gone. We need to swallow four more years of Obama and wait for some good guys in 2016(Perry, Christie, Rubio)

We would need Obama regardless. I think we will be almost out of the recession when his next term is up.

As much as I can't stand RT, I still think Newt is total scum.

Newt doesn't strike me as an ideologue, but more as a complete opportunist.

Doesn't Gingrich want to repeal child labor laws or something of that sort?

Hopefully Perry doesn't run again. I think the only reason Perry gets elected is that Texas doesn't want one of those damn liberals that allow illegals immigrants to steal our jobs.

Well I don't want to derail another thread observer92. PM me if you want to talk about Perry. I would advise against making a thread considering it would just be a huge bashing thread.

Okay let's get back to Gingrich. Perry has his bad, but his good shines bright. PM me if you want to discuss it, but let's bash the larger thicker one some more.

Yes, most Republicans preach stuff like that. Returning to a better time. Some preach it the "right" way and some preach it the "wrong" way. Santorum is in the wrong.

Santorum is probably the most annoying one left, what with his utter rejection of ideology and common sense in favor of 'conservative values'. Romney is pathetically opportunistic and slimy, as usual. Newt will continue to have his character assaulted instead of his policy.

And Ron Paul remains fringe as ever.

Watching Ron Paul in the last debate was funny.
From what I saw, he did little more than laugh and smile the whole time.
