Pink slime

So I've been thinking about this whole pink slime thing. Here is an article from the Communist news network (CNN) on it. http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-766444 All meat is generally pink and slimey . "pink slime" is a left wing buzzword used to to describe ammonia treated meat products as toxic somehow. In reality ammonia has many health benefits. Ever heard of "smelling salts"? In fact because of it's use to make you more alert giving children ammonia treated meats may actually give them the edge they need to succeed in academia and life. I proudly support the use of pink slime and encourage people to think for themselves before listening to Marxist lies.

I may be assuming here, but to my knowledge ammonia inside your body tends to be a bad thing and corrosive. So if that's the case put it in all the foods. Hell even put it in my water.

I can say it is toxic there is a reason no other country in the world uses it. When I went to the U.S. I had a McDonald's burger also made me vomit and it looked and felt weird to because of the pink slime.

No here McDonald's is not made with pink slime and actually complies with food and safety regulations.

Actually Canada does allow pink slime to be used. The only difference is Canada does not allow for the ammonia spray to happen. But this constraint is ridiculous, as pink slime has a relatively small amount of ammonia in it (about .02 grams per 100 grams of meat) compared to things you eat on a daily basis. Foods with more ammonia than pink slime include blue cheese (.138 grams per 100 grams), Salami (.11 grams per 100 grams), and mayo (.041 per 100 grams).

What a pointless topic, the world knows as we expand our food will become more and more unhealthy. Soon food will be made out of some chewy plastic chunks full of flavour crystals.

It's because they support the whole organic foods movement. In reality organic foods supports famine. Anyone whose studied the history of communism knows that communists love famine. For proof just look at Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, The realm of the wonder kims also known as north korea, Mao, etc.
