If there were to be a third major political party in United States that could compete with both the Democrats and Republicans. What would you guys like it to be. For me I'd like to see either a modern Progressive Party or a Social Democracy Party.

I would like to see the bullmoose party make a comeback, and I would like to see teddy roosevelt return from the grave and lead us unto a new era.

A moderate socialist party. Maybe something like the NDP in Canada.
Although to have a third party in the US, you would have to change some major events.

Well, there are the secondary parties, which are the Libertarian, the Constitution and the Green parties. They are the strongest of the little parties.

There can never be a third party win (so depressing). Probably the Federalists return, with a resuscitated Washington at their head.

True, but they're more subparties within the current parties.

The one that is voted in the most really is the Tea Party considering it works with the Republican Party. I would like to see it bigger.

Strange how in American history that early parties that were once great died out... but the Republican and Democratic parties still are here, albeit different beliefs than their foundations (slavery v. abolition)
What about Andrew Jackson resurrected lol.

The only potential third parties are Libertarian, Constitution, and Green. All of them suck ass.

The Libertarian Party is the third largest party, and the only one that isn't retarded. True liberalism is dead in America, and I would like to see it's return. But I would rather it be called "liberal" than "libertarian".
