I never said that I was against spending cuts, or at least not spending any more. In fact, I said I was for some cuts. Not a massive one, but a cut, never the less.
I agree with getting out of Afganistan. The sooner we get out of there, the better. As we've seen in the recent attacks, they can probably handle themselves against whatever the Taliban and other terrorist networks can send at them. I also agree with what you said about North Korea and Iran. Though, hopefully, another war is a long way away. Though one with Iran is coming soon.

Yes, and the only reason most Taliban fighters join the Taliban is through anti-American propaganda, if we were to pull out, the Taliban will have lost a purpose, and people would be more inclined to support the Republic, while we could still indirectly support the Republic in it's fight against whatever meager resistance the Taliban would put up.
And on Iran and Korea, both nations seem to be pushing the limits of American and international patience. Especially in North Korea, which has shown little sign of backing down. With the recent rocket debacle, I'm sure Kim Jong Un is greatly embarrassed, and having shown his incompetence and possibly losing faith among the military, I worry the military leaders will increasingly gain influence in the North Korean government, and it will become progressively more hostile. The North Koreans have shown that they are looking for a fight, and don't think we should deny them one should they decline our offers of reconciliation.

Iran however, seems to be learning it's place after the straight of hormuz incident, and continued sanctions seem to be successful there, but should they continue their nuclear program, it will only encourage defiance to us among their leadership, and they could become increasingly militant. However, I believe economic sanctions are better right now, as such a war would be outside our interests. Especially if they lose their puppet in Syria, we will know then what to do, as they will either become increasingly compliant or increasingly desperate.
