Having been watching Stalins lets play I couldn't help but get into this! (I love alternate history games!) However unlike Stalin I chose to take control of Canada and wage a crusade against communism worldwide! Well, Iv almost won! First I waited for the American civil war and took advantage of the division first wiping out the Communists, then the main USA followed soon after by the Unionists in the south and the Pacificans in the west. After that I plotted to take control of Iceland for its ports, then Ireland before using their airports and close location to bombard the Commie scum out of the motherland!... Things didn't get far past the Irish, seems they are somewhat difficult to defeat! (little buggers took my guns to fight the commies then refused to let me base my attack from there!) So I took it out on lain America >=D How about you guys? any Empires to show off? :mrgreen: PS: Also thank you real world Canada for changing the names of your armed forces to Royal Air Force and Royal Navy! You've got nothing on AI Germany. I'm playing a game as Nepal, though I've been made a puppet by mega-Japan, the AI in DH is scary.
Well, I was playing as Nepal. I couldn't exactly hold back the tides of Germany. The best part is that Japan isn't even in the Axis, so I might get a chance to join Japan in kicking Germany's ass out of Mesopotamia.
Haha, no worries man just kidding But if you did defeat German as Nepal then that would have been incredible! Myself I'm still trying to re-unify Italy as one of the smaller states in Victoria 2! =p My last project was turning the USCA into a superpower, now I'm going Italian!
Unifying Italy is a big pain in the arse. I always have to go off on a tangent and take some of Indochina or Africa in order to actually get any soldier POPs. Apart from that, it's the tangle of Austria and France. I hate juggling spheres of influence and I can't exactly rush in and kill everybody when I have to ferry troops all the way from Vietnam. Enough of my rant, good luck with the campaign.
Haha thanks man, I know what you mean, normally I get the early trooper weapon bonus's! it's how I beat Great Britain to a Pulp as the USCA! What got me in the end is the buggers built the Panama Cannel and cut off north USCA from the south. Its completely unfair that just because Britain finished some research I lose an important chunk of my territory just because the game said so! When they couldn't even take it by force! (and trust me they tried and so did all their allies!)
