I picked China-it's size and central location will make this a hard let's play, but if he can power up the economy via industrialization he can dramatically steamroll the whole planet under glorious Chinese hegemony.

To be honest my second choice is mexico as it would be nice to see how it unfolds but my first choice was china as I have struggled to hold onto power in asia as china in victoria one (i think i started a few too many wars, too early) and would like to see spencer handle the dominance of asia.

I chose the Ottomans. China looks overpowered. Ottomans interest me more anyway.

Why didn't you put Japan on the list. It is an interesting country, trying to recreate the meji restoration and stuff, and it is quite hard too.

Most would be quite easy, considering French power is quite massive and somewhat over stated. It would hence be quite easy, although as nation such as the Ottomans, you will receive barley if any losses for declaring a war on an Asian or African.
