Okay I read the Rules and did not like the Fact That 3 points is Bannable

Say I Double post because I Forgot about the Edit Button To bad for me 1 Point

I then call Someone Let's say Lucy a Douchefag for not liking The Orks

Then I Help Beard with his Pirated Problem

    I am Now banned.

I would like to extend it to 5 Points But Make Double posting 2 points and Insults out of Hate Speech 1.5 Points.

It's 100% possible and in fact very, very easy to never get warned at all. Following the rules is much simpler than breaking them. Extending the warn limit doesn't really accomplish anything though, you just make it harder to get rid of people who are violating the site rules...

1, you can appeal any warning. 2, you are almost always warned in threads several times before getting warned for double posting, unless you do it again right after the thread warning. 3, it has to be 3 points in a month. 4, the piracy issue would likely have not resulted in a warning, more than likely the thread would have been dealt with and you would have been asked not to. 5, only if Lucy was insulted by you calling her a douchefag. Also why is double posting more points than insulting another user?

But didn't i also Give Penalties for Being Beligerent and Ignoring the Rules?

Because Ignoring the Rules is a bigger Infraction then insulting someone on the Internet.

What? This statement literally makes no sense. Clarify it in a way that those of us who speak English can understand.

EDIT: You can't be warned for ignorance of the rules, you get ignored for breaking them.

Yes, okay, but why did you originally say it? Are you suggesting we warn people for being mean?

Rom, I am pretty sure that is more strict than what we have going. Plus being very specific when suggesting rule changes is needed. You need to explain in detail everything you are proposing to be changed.

Define " Unfavorable Attitudes". Anyway, so long as they aren't laying down any personal insults, they should be untouchable.

As for the warring system, seems fine as it is. Then again I've never really had to deal with it.

If Member 1 is being a Douche to member 2 and member 2 reports him member 1 has a previous warning for being a loose cannon so we Punish him. What else do i need to Explain?

Typically the way people get bans (which start out at a week might I add) is they repeatedly insult people. This is something Stalin has said he will not stand for as people come here to discuss gaming and politics, not to be personally insulted. As it stands in terms of double posting, we have to give you at least one verbal warning before infracting, and as Chelsea mentioned, we really only infract if it's in the same thread you have been verbally warned in. If you can't adhere to those basic principles, and continue to break the rules even after being notified of the potential consequences of doing so, then you've certainly earned a week away form the forums.

I would say that aside from malicious content (posting pornographic images included), personal insults and piracy (do you think Stalin would enjoy his continued positive relationship with game developers which enables him to get exclusive interviews and early demos for games if he endorsed piracy?) are two of the biggest and most important no no's.

@Rom.... Member 1 should prob not be such a douche as when we do warn we offer a lengthy explanation as to why you are being infracted. If you appeal the warning we'll offer a lengthy opinion (1-2 PAGES) explaining why the infraction was valid, or why it was invalid. We also take into account the situation and if both users are being douchey we will either infract both or no one.

So you are only changing the point value of double posting and insults - hate speech, extending the point limit to 5 and suggesting that we warn people for being douches? If it is below personal insults then no, we can't do that, it would be a slippery slope too.

What? Insults are covered by the current rules, we don't give warnings for being a "loose cannon," and I still don't see what any of this has to do with the original topic.

EDIT: Okay wait lol, you want to make double posting a more serious offense than hate speech? That's just silly.
