Community involvement is good because it strengthens the Users and Makes the Forums Alot more entertaining and easier.

Community Involvement is bad because some members take it to seriously and end up making all users seem like we want more power. When in fact all we want is a nice easy Forum with simple rules and Good moderators.

I'd say its a good thing but that would be evidence to support my future purging, and I'm not one to tie my own noose.

Good, why would letting the users have more say in their own forum be a problem?

No they aren't, they do a good job already and I don't want to end up with kids having as much power as a moderator.

Good when people are mature, bad when people decide to argue for illogical things like bending the rules.

No, good when people actually propose ways to improve the site, rather than lobbying for rule breakers.

Why could "lobbying for rule breakers" never be a good way to improve the ste?

Because we have pretty loose rules. Anarchy on the site is not a good things, and would only cause it's imminent collapse, rather than improve it.

Perhaps not Anarchy, but I don't see why we could not stand to be even more leniant while maintaining that social order.
