Because the modship won't stop cluttering up my inbox with warning this and infraction that, I have decided to come up with a solution to fix Double Posting.

Simply create a server add-on that prevents someone from double posting. Kind of like how you can't delete a reply'd post. This would force people to simply fill out the whole Edit deal to further post.

So you can't seem to abide by the rules, so you propose to change the way the site operates? I mean if it's possible without revamping the site to much, then sure, but it's not that hard to self-police yourself. The post reply button is under where you're post is, and a mere centimeters away from the edit button...

If it is not hard to do (which you failed to find out if it is or not) then sure.

This seems like a good idea if it doesn't take too much work. The site is being reworked anyway right?

If it's possible I see no reason why not, but it's not like were all Pro web designers here.

Again though, it's really easy, you should be scrolling down to read people's posts anyway so there's little reason to use the post reply from the top of the page

So you feel that you need a physical block to stop double posting because you can't stop your hand from clicking the post reply button instead of the edit button?

No, actually the problem has been forgetting I posted there 5 minutes later or so. I do edit in a lot, in case you didn't notice. This is mainly a problem when I'm on my iPod and can only see a fraction of the screen.

Imagine the time pissed away to deliver infractions, provide citations, fight appeals, send PMs, etc.

Do a minor mechanical change to the site and everything g
    is a whole lot easier.

It's not minor, in order to do that we have to scrap the whole forum and rebuild it just to add your feature.

I somehow doubt that, actually. I somehow would have to believe that a forum isn't that hard to modify.

And why would you call it my feature? This benefits everyone, the mods more than anyone in fact. Especially Chelsea who would probably sell her soul to prevent double posting.

You apparently have nothing to add since all you can do is repeat that I have an orgasm at the idea of playing MineCraft with Che and am incredibly lazy on the grounds of not being able to edit each and every post I have ever made.

I don't Double Post much, but it's getting annoying with all the warning and shit.

Also, stop coming here. Your only ability is to troll, which is not welcome here. Your point would hardly be worth respond to were I not generous in giving everyone the courtesy of a response.

Bullshit. You double post a ton and you have been warned in several threads to stop not only by mods but by users as well. Not to mention you double posted enough in the past to be the first legit user we ever banned, you should have learned your lesson. We were being very lenient with you breaking this rule however I warned you in PM that if you kept up that you would be issued infractions. I guess you didn't listen. I didn't think you would since in both the thread and the reply to the PM you said that the rule and the infractions are nothing more than an annoyance. It is EXTREMELY easy to not double post on purpose, which you do as a lot of your double posts have been just minutes apart in the same thread so don't say you forgot. Just check to make sure the last post was not by you and edit if it was. That isn't hard. To suggest changing the way the site functions because you can't follow an extremely simple rule is completely ridiculous. You say changing the way the site works would be easier than warning people like you for double posting but it would be easiest if people like you would just not break the rules and edit their posts in the first place.
If it is truly annoying that you are getting warnings for it, then stop doing it. Simple as that.

Bullshit we have been telling you time and time again before you were banned. After the ban you still double post. I tell you after this infraction warning you will be getting less leniency.

Ignoring Kara's claim, I see merit in his idea. It would be relatively simple and we can have a testing period of this if we give it a try.
