Am I The Only Person Who Really, Really Hates The New Site?

Exactly what it says in the title, please change it back!! I cant find anything and the UI is really really wierd. Maybe you like it better the way it is now, so post your responce or answer the poll if you want.

The new site is way better. It's also way better for us staff so I am a bit biased. I am sorry but we wont be changing back. Also we spent a lot of money on the move that was donated by Surfusa, thank you Surf, so it wouldn't be fair to him. It wouldn't be possible to move back even if this was 100% yes in the polls.

As a long time member, I say that it is so much better than before, it is so much smoother, maybe it is because you didn't get used to it yet.

It is a bit odd as it is a big overhaul. I will get used to it though. Not too sure about the white-ness though.

Change the background in preferences. Go to your name at the top, there is a drop down list, click preferences.

You can change the whiteness. I have only two problems, there doesn't seem to be a spoiler button, and I can't seem to erase all those personal messages that came back! Also, Chelsea, is my sig too big? As I said, the spoiler is missing.

fucking faggot's welcome said that you can scroll down to the bottom of whatever page you're viewing, and click on 'JVS lite', which will allow you to change it to 'JVS dark'

It will take a while to get used to it but it's better in every way. I certainly appreciate the rich text editor.

The JVS Dark theme should be the default theme. Apart from that, I have no complaints about the new site. Except maybe the birthdays being displayed, it's just inhabited by spammers.

On another note, why does Observer has a "Social Democratic Moderator" tag, what does this mean, you guys didn't follow kara's idea right?

I imagine he did it on his own initiative - i'm sure some of the others will have some kind of amusing title too. Btw, the 'alert' thing is great! Brought me right back to this thread to make this comment! Yay!

I also like the alert thing. However, has anyone noticed some of the quotes are really messed up because of the change?

Once you get the feel of it you know it's way better. I think a dark backround would be better though.
