    In my opinion the Vietnam War really didn’t need to be fought it was a civil war and we should have stayed out of it. I also in away see similarities between this war and the American Revolution, with the NVA and VC playing the Colonist and the US army playing the British. Like the British we could win battles but never come up with a war winning strategy and like the Colonist the NVA never took on the US military directly because every time they lose like the tet offensive so what they did was ware down us in till we got tired of it and left.
