Hi Guys, if you saw my recent video log I said that I am doing a project for my political science class were I am comparing the views of fundamental human rights of Americans to Canadians and I need your help. In the project I want to see what the average citizen of each country believes basic human rights to be. So I ask you to write a response that can be anywhere between a sentence and a paragraph on the subject. I also ask that you provide me your name, it would just be weird in the essay if I wrote "Kali said that, blah blah blah blah."
Everyone should have a right to: a home, food, water, free speech within reasonable limits, political freedom, religious freedom, education (including university/college), healthcare, and protest. This is what I believe every person in the world should have a right to. You should know my name.
We don't have any rights, we simply take what we can get and always demand more until we get more. We're just animals there's no magic to it. However what rights should a government enforce? Equality under the law. That's all really, I won't be the one paying for water and food dispensaries, people might become reliant on them. Matthew Creighton
