So I am sure most of you have heard the controversy surrounding these two gentlemen in the recent days however if you haven’t:

Herman Cain has apparently been accused of sexually harassing a woman while he worked as a lobbyist at the NRA. The problem here really being that he has handled it like a total clown, he keeps contradicting himself, telling people the he doesn’t remember anything then all of a sudden remembers exact details. I don’t know all the details, but if you ask me, he seemed totally guilty.

In terms of Rick Perry though, there is this awesome viral video of a speech he did at New Hampshire were he seems totally tanked. It’s a weird speech were he’s all giggly randomly, he reaches into his coat pocket to pull something out and it’s not there etc. etc. All around totally bizarre.

Anyway lots of people are making the claim that these two scandals could destroy both candidates. If they are right what does that mean for the GOP nomination. Is Mitt Romney a sure thing? Or does another candidate rise up to fill the gap?

I say Mitt Romney will be the republican nomination in the end.

It doesn't really matter. Both will recover, and in the end Obama will win the election, no matter who is nominated.

I agree that Obama will probably win, no matter who the Republican candidate is. Obama has my vote.

Obama has the majority vote, But that doesn't mean the republicans won't pull something out of their asses, Remember 2000.

The Republican party has no reason to exist. The only thing that sets them apart from other parties is their social conservatism. And most republican voters aren't even socially conservative, they are just economic rightists who are too scared to vote Libertarian, or haven't heard of it.

I sure Herman Cain will recover, but Perry was done a while ago. He's been losing a lot of support so this comes at a bad time for him.

I'm honestly voting for either Zoidberg or Stephen T Colbert.... Realistically though, Romney will loose a close race to Obama

Why the fuck would anybody vote again for Obama?? I mean yea he was better than the last one :D but he didn't do what he promised in his campaigns before being elected.
Are just voting for him because there is no one else to vote
But to the Herman Cain thing:
republican presidential candidate race is like reality show... Don't take it seriously
If i would have to vote in America I would vote for Ron Paul... by the way.

Not sure that both of them will recover, but Obama will most likely win the election, not by much though.

I just had to watch the Perry New Hampshire speech again. Totally eye cringing and lolz. What did that guy drink beforehand? I get more and more convinced that Rick Perry shared the same test tube as Dubya back in the day. And Cain's dithering about this sexual harassment is just laughable. Look, we all got skeletons in the closet, but come on, just get it out and be honest with it. Oh well. The Republicans aren't getting my vote next year anyways.

Just because you know nothing about what he's done in office doesn't mean he's done nothing. He's fulfilled much of what he said he'd do and half fulfilled many other things because the republicans shoot down all his proposals. Perhaps you should actually look it up.
