corporations and banks: Part of something bigger:

Since now we have all heard about the ongoing occupations across America and the globe. Protesters that have been taking part in the occupations are calling an end to "Corporate Greed". I understand their anger over the corporations, but you have to look at the real picture, and say to yourself that this corporations and financial institution are just tools to a wider system. What i'm saying is that the system of capitalism is the problem, and corporations and banks are just small pieces to the system.

I'm sharing this with you guys because people fail to see the threat to it's full magnitude, and that people have to keep in mind (especially those at the occupations) that the capitalist system is merely the driving engine for this corporations (an instrument for the organized exploitation of wage labor) and the financial institution in which this cronies operate in.

What i'm saying is that people should point the blame to the global system itself than corporations and banks.

I would also like to say in solidarity with the Oakland General strike at the fifth busiest container port in the United States of America.

Corporations is not a proper noun, and neither are banks or capitalism.

Your statement doesn't make any sense. Since capitalism, banks, and corporations are not proper nouns then you shouldn't capitalize them unless they come at the beginning of a sentence. This mistake might be somewhat acceptable if a non-native speaker made it, but you speak English as your first language, so you have no excuse.

Capitalism is fine, market competition has been shown time and time again to produce the most wealth. However, our systems lack of enough government regulations disturbs me. There has to be a balance between having a free market, and having regulations to protect the people, which is why Reaganomics blows.

Market competition produces more wealth, in the hands of the already wealthy.

Kali stop being a grammar Nazi, just because you think you are so much better than everyone else dosen't mean you have to pick on every one. I am English and only 3% of English people speak proper "Standard English" all the else is divided into dialect, sociolect and idiolect. Just because it dosen't fit with the 3% of English speaking people dosen't mean its wrong. Say if I were to say to you "Aye'up ther, Kali at they?" It dosen't mean I am wrong only that I speak differently.

Capitalism is the worst economic system, except for everything else we've come up with.

You cannot rightly call yourself educated when, as a native English speaker with no disabilities, you are unable to follow even the most elementary principles of the language. To fail in that most simple of tasks is the mark of extreme laziness or outright idiocy, but in either case it's incompetence and it's inexcusable, especially in the discussion forums.

As a student of linguistics I can assure you that his post was not dialect, sociolect, or idiolect. It was just incorrect.

No, it is the very definition of wrong. It's grammatically incorrect.

There is a difference between dialect and incompetence. This is not a case of the former.

I agree with this, but as it is the best thing that we have come up with I do not complain. Capitalism could (maybe) work (well) if industry is highly regulated.

Kali doesn't think he is better then everyone else; he is merely correcting mistakes, that as a native speaker, you have no exscuse for making.

That wasn't dialect, sociolect or idiolect; it would be nice if you knew what you were talking about.

    Yes, yes it does.

Just to clarify, there is a difference between dialect and ineptitude.

Kali is like a Finn: He says what he thinks, and thinks of what he says.

He might be very direct and have no problem on chalenging your argument, but he is not a stalker bully.

This post is so silly that the entire discussion turned to grammar.

It's so silly it made Kalalification double post, unless there was some ninja-editing going on or something.

First of all, i didn't really get a proper education mainly because i've struggled in life and became extremely sick many times, so the first half of my life i didn't really cover nothing that was educational. I won't go over it in to much detail which wouldn't be fair on my behalf.

I would like to say something to Kalification if i may.

How would you feel if your life wasn't so good and i came along arrogantly and told you that you made this grammatical error within your comment, therefore later on i said you was stupid and incompetent enough to write even a topic down. You wouldn't like it.

I feel incredibly offended by your Nazi grammatical ways!

I have disabilities as well, so i'm afraid i'm not as normal as you may think.
