What is happening to music today?

not some guy talking to a beat. having some sort of band playing with him. the bands i listed off are some example for real music. i dont mind if someone likes rap i just find it to be terrible and wont listen to it.

I like a lot of those bands too, but I would never call music that I don't like "not real music". Modern music has such a bad reputation among internet faggots because they are all cynics with ass burgers.

Anyway, lately, I've started listening more to some electronic music, although to me, nothing beats a good set of guitars backed up by a bass, drums and a good or unique singing voice. Nu metal kinda comes close, but other than a few songs from Disturbed's first album, I've never really been a fan. I don't know if Linkin Park would count, but everything that isn't on their two new albums I just can't listen to (again, with the exception of two or three songs).

pfft thats like saying only jamaicans can sing reggae, and only rastafarians can listen to it. If some guy wants to listen to rap he can no matter if he is black, white, latino or asian. Dutch music is utter shit. You either have bad rap and hip hop that uses words that don't exist, and generally are about...nothing, and at the other end you have cheesy love songs with crappy background music sung by overweight idiots that have a combined IQ that's lower than mine.
