There's been outrage in China over that incident last I've heard. So It's unfair to say Chinese people have no morals, there are clearly many with such values. I partly blame the economic reforms for this pretty much, there's too much materialism about because people want to enjoy their new economic freedoms leading to moral decline in a lot of people, and that truly saddens me.

Imperial you cannot defend China. You can attack the West all you want, but you cannot rationally defend China, and that's what you're doing. Compared to any Western country, China is a tyrannical hellhole, and you seem to be just fine with that. Your blind nationalism destroys any of your credibility, and there's even quite a bit of racial superiority coming through in your posts. The level of cognitive dissonance evident in your last few posts is simply unbelievable and no one calls you out on it because no one realizes or cares enough about China to understand that it's not the lesser of two evils, or committing equal wrongs. It's way past that. No Western nation sends you to a forced labor camp for being a Catholic, no Western nation has you simply disappear in the night for questioning party views, and no Western nation so heavily suppresses freedom of information as to make the internet an unrecognizable mess of propaganda. China is a patently evil nation, and we have an obligation to oppose and eliminate that evil. We have control of our own markets and we can put significant pressure on the Chinese. No government would hold out against that kind of force to uphold an obviously wicked and unproductive practice, and if it did then no people would stand for that government.

That is your point of view. When the others decide similarly or differently or decide simply to post their opinions of me is theirs and theirs alone. I take no ligitimacy in this statement of yours because you do not represent anybody but yourself. If others voice their opinion to be similar than they too represent themselves. Until a great number vote you their representative you will continue to represent only yourself.

That, or parhaps they have simply not come to the same conclusion as you have. The implication of yours that they are far too lazy or stupid to take interest in China is both an insult on all of them and wrong. The fact that you have taken so much of an interest in China as to learn so much about them simply so that you can hate them more is proof that people take an interest in China. That I stand opposite of you on a seemingly large amount of issues pretaining to China proves that there are other opinions than yours.

Then petition your government and fellow countrymen to do it. Go ahead, go to China and start killing people. See how long you last. From what I see, the majority of Americans have no interest in fighting China.

Then petition your government to do it. Why haven't you yet? If the U.S. and its citizens along with the entire world find China so repulsive, why have you not acted on it?

Tell that to the 76+ million and growing CCP members. And while you are at it, tell that to the millions of Chinese who raise no hand against them and air no complaints. And then go huddle in a corner in the U.S. Embassy in Beijing with the handful of unpopular democratic supporters in China who can easily put out their message of democracy, but are met with no rallying cries from the people.

I have my views on China, you have yours. Insults only lower my opinion of you. They do not change my opinion. Parhaps in time my opinion will change. Parhaps in time your opinion will change. Parhaps in time China will change. But things are as they are for the moment.

There are good people in the world and there are bad people. What's the point of my comment? You go figure it out.

When did I ever say anything but?

It's a foregone conclusion; no one can look at the situation in modern China and think things are honkie-dorie unless they are, as you are, blinded by nationalism.

When did I say they were lazy or stupid? You seem to be drawing this conclusion completely on your own.

Where on Earth are you getting this idea about military action from? Nowhere have I ever advocated it.

Well, a good portion of our Congress is attempting to act on it in the status quo. Following the 2012 election season we'll more than likely see a Democratic majority and the attempts will turn to reality. No more gaming the system for the Chinese.

To put things into perspective, that's 76 people out of a thousand. And again, you CAN'T oppose the government in China without being carted off to a forced labor camp or simply disappeared by the government.

Germans didn't rise up against the Nazis during WWII or even the pre-War era, guess that makes most Germans ardent supporters of the Nazi regime.

The reality is that when the government actively suppresses the political opposition with violence the majority doesn't have the capacity to stand for what they believe in or what is right.

Again, you're being ridiculous by claiming that democracy and free speech are unpopular in China because there isn't a large group of people fighting for them: IF THEY SPEAK OUT THEY ARE SILENCED.

That is perhaps the most worthless statement I've seen this week.

The numbers do not lie and the numbers are firm in this.
    CCP: 76+ million members
Military: 5 million [2.5 million active, 2.5 million reserve]
Chinese Democratic parties [who have at least 8 different groups] significantly: > 76 million
Total population of the People's Republic of China: 1.3+ billion people

Now, I am not by any means either a great mathematician nor a great military leader, but looking at these numbers...
I am slightly doubtful that the Chinese are moving towards Democracy.
And I am equally certain that no matter what the CCP did, no matter how many they silenced, if the people of China really wanted a regime change, 81 million cannot stop 1.2 billion.
But you know, thats just me, I guess.

If the Democratic parties even rivaled the CCP or even had at least half of their numbers, well, making 38 million people 'disappear' when they are constantly in the international spotlight is slightly difficult, even for the CCP.

Anybody who looks at any nation and thinks them without issue is blind. Every nation has issues.
I'm hardly 'blinded by nationalism'. I aknowledge China's problems and look for solutions. It is you who is so blind as to believe that any nation is founded solely on evil and that they cannot have an honest bone in the structure. Even worse is your insistance on judging others by your own standards. The world simply does not work that way.

As for your 'where did I say that' questions... Look back at your own post. If you cannot see it, than there is nothing that I can do to help you there. But if you want an example:

Have you taken into consideration that the quality of living is up because of supply and demand rate that they're getting from us?

look at all the factory workers, and farmers, they're making a shit-ton of money, atleast the governmental powers are.
