Personaly, i liked the guy he is educated and really sounds smart now before you go crazy commenting i know he also was in command of the regime killing thousands it is like that guy from iraq tarik aziz made me laugh denying any forces where closing in on baghdad wile cnn showed the tanks les then a mile from where he was talking lol so does libia hang him or sent him to the tribunal?
Don't we have the Libya Superthread for this? Anyways, we can get some information about the regime out of him... So send him to the tribunal!
Not sure which son you are talking about. If Saif al Islam, he was actually a liberal/reformist. He disagreed with his father politically, and he was the only of Gaddafi's children to not have his own personal militia. I think he was also educated in a London university. Nobody can help who they are born to. I could understand a light jail sentence (5 years or so) , or even exile from the country. But execution is too much.
I don't think the international criminal court in The Hague can sentence war criminals to death, but I don't want him ending the same way as his father and brother...
I don't think Gaddafi's whole family should suffer for what he did, that's all history now. EDIT: Post 777, I won the jackpot! Now where's my pot?
There are some of them that shouldn't like Saddi the one that was captured at the beginning he has done nothing. Also here's your pot:
If we hang him without a tribunal the world will remember us as a bunch of assholes who hanged someguy unfairly.
This is the face that says "God, I'm screwed." If anything, the Libyans will probably keep him and try him there instead of letting him go to The Hague. I don't think he'll get shot or hung, but more probably will spend the rest of his life in prison. The fact of the matter is that a "Green Libya" is now consigned to history books.
Saif Al-Islam should be sentence to the tribunal, but if anyone is wishing death here on him then your disgusting fucks like NATO and the proxy NTC.
So life in prison in Libia or 20years in the Hague prison or a nice neckty? well i don't care either way i just have a softspot for crumbling regimes hence my Zeonic picture.
Im sorry but why is it that you hate NATO? what have then done besides attempting to help people? Now as for the trial i say tribunal.
According to the paper I read in my current events class, the group that captured him is refusing too turn him over to the NTC. He is so fucked.
all i know is that during illegal execution it will contain cinderblocks, the flag of Spain, a dildo, and a 500 hour loop of the mario brothers movie...
Not what I heard and saw, the video they released looked like it had NTC guards in the room. they said they will keep him in custody and put him on trial when a Judicial system has been established.
