The Congressional committee tasked with coming up with a bi-partisan way to cut US spending by 1.2 trillion dollars has failed. http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/21/politics/super-committee/index.html?hpt=hp_t1 Discuss.
So did we just theoretically, maybe, possibly involuntarily cut a few trillion of the budget or did congress scrap that?
This really would have been the inevitable ending, but I do think that it is kind of ridiculous to assume that they could have ever cut 1.2 trillion from the budget in two months. Even if they whole heartedly agreed with each other, it would still have taken over two months to sort it all out.
See guys there is a simple answer to why Congress sucks. They have a different dictionary than us and compromise is not in their dictionary.
Soon the'll cut electricity and defense and it will spiel us down a hell of blackouts. these blackouts will lead to millions of kids demanding to play there Xbox and Ps3 and will lead to wide scale riots and cities blowing up. the entire financial market will collapse and the rich will become poor the poor will become cats and Obama will declare he really is a Kenyan communist Muslim from space. The increase of no Xbox and riots will cause kids to become less fat and as such McDonald will take a sharp decline in profits leading to a world hunger problem, that can only be avoided by sacrificing every single high school freshmen. Finally after the entire world collapse into a chaos of anarchy and death, one lone superpower will rise to conquer the world. And that power is CROATIA.
