Have you ever seen this movie? I think the movie is weird, and slightly terrible, but that does make it quite enjoyable in my opinion. *Uchecensoruche*
Turns out its his dad there Saved you from watching it. BTW this forum has Strict anti Piracy laws Read the rules bro.... No links to TPB.
Oh, I'm sorry about that. I changed it. I think the whole movie is over the top. Like, they kill someone from a few miles distance, and the bullets even turn at some points in the movie.
Given a sufficiently elevated position and a .50 cal... Bullet drop, wind condition, etc. You would make a terrible sniper methinks.
A tiny handgun, and they literary shot through the holes of donuts, open train windows while they were moving, and open doors in the middle of a big city. Have you seen the film? There is a difference between a curve like this: And a curve like this: Couldn't agree more...
1. Its a movie 2. The bullet that was fired to kill his father should have had to consider for the wind and bullet drop. It didn't, therefore, there was never any serious consideration for balistics 3. The curving would be difficult to do, but thoretically possible. I wouldn't recommend trying it though 4. What kind of gun is used makes no difference. They are all subject to the Laws of Physics. @ FeyBart Shooting through moving trains, donuts, and opening/closing doors are all perfectly possible. They are just difficult to accomplish.
You just said it could be done with a .50 cal! And the bullet that was used to kill his father, was shot from a 1 meter distance, and did not use a curve either. The curving, would not be theoretically possible, from such a short range as in the trailer.
I said it could be done with a .50 cal. However: 1. The wind was blowing rather hard in the movie 2. The shot was fired from at an angle of elevation. Any school kid knows that it is significantly harder to throw a ball up to someone than down to someone. The same Laws of Physics still apply. Gravity. 3. Are you sure about the distance? It looke further than a meter to me. I am on the fence about the curve for a bit. I don't know the extent of the Laws of Physics [nor does anybody, really], but I think that it may be possible. I'd have to learn more about the feild to say for certain. And unless either of us [or anybody on this forums] can prove that they are a balistics expert, the question remains.
The shot at his father was while they were hanging down a cliff, and he grabbed the arm of his father with one hand, while shooting with another. And the shot which curved around that hot chick, was indoors, so it couldn't be influenced by the wind, unless they had a wind machine the size of a small airplane there, and I'd still strongly doubt it.
Hmm... I think that I was talking about a different shot... I refused to watch the entirety of the horrible movie.
