Hey so I'm looking for maybe getting an handheld gaming device (Inspired by Phoenis Wright), but I have 0 knowlage when it comes to this. I'm looking for one that is practical (wont break up & easy to use), has good games, cheap & I don't give a flying fuck about gimics such as 3D. Have any recomendations? Ps. Tell something about the games as well Features I'd like: - Color - Cheap - Durable - Good selection of games (That are dirt cheap as well & they keep making some) - Headphones plug in - Fits in (larger) pocket - Screen protection Optional: - USB - Photo/Video PC transmits - Wireless
It's £100. That's not all that expensive. From my own personal experiences, I have cracked the PSP screen at least 5 times and it still works. Durable shit.
Gameboy color. But if you are looking for somthing more modern go with the psp or playstation phone. It's got starwars battlefront witch is one of the most amazing games ever.
I was thinking of something that Nintendo made, maybe DS? EDIT: I will edit my original post to include features I want
Go with a DS lite, cheap as hell, plenty of games, and you still have the extra slot for GBA games. And it has Phoenix Wright on it. The only thing it misses is the screen protection thing, but so long as you aren't trying to stab the DS with the stylus, you'll be fine.
This may be out of left field, but honestly you might be surprised in how much fun you can get out of the iPod touch. I have always hated most things apple does but I have to concede with this one. The games are dirt cheap (most are 1-2 dollars), and many of them really are creative and fantastic. If you are looking for deeper gaming experiences you're kind of limited to the Gameboy, DS and PSP (though you will find some in the app store, but there aren't many), but if you're looking for something to kill time on the train, I would highly recommend this. There are many cases for it so it's fairly durable, and most aren't obtrusive so it will eaisly slip into any pocket, much more so than any alternative consoles. It's also a great media player (obviously) and has wifi, but the syncing process through itunes is a bit of a pain.
Thank you, but it is quite expensive and I have to look into the game selection it has. I would get it, if I need a new phone (You can use it as phone, right?) or as present from some one.
If you think the NDS Lite and the PSP 3000 are too expensive, you could consider buying used ones. If you don't like buying pre-owned electronics, then I guess you should look into outdated handhelds such as the Game Boy Advanced SP.
There's both the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Game wise they're the same, but the iPhone is the one with a built in phoning device. Also, the iPhone is more expensive.
I think you might want to buy an iPhone or an Android phone those have ridicilous amounts of games. But their prices are a bit high at this time.
Is there any sign of price getting down? And its games are sold at retail price of any console game >.>
