You live in Philly or around Philly correct? From what my mom told me from when she lived in Philly you practically have to go to a Catholic school to get a decent education there.

I pay $12,108.00 but thats only because its a two year Community College. A four year college can get pretty damn expensive in the US.

Because of my scholarship, I pay nothing for my private school but at the same time the school is filled with nothing but rich fuckheads who think they can do whatever they want, If I hadn't joined the soccer team, I would of been subjected to Social Darwinism, because I am the only poor person there. I miss my public school...

That sucks. I never wanted to go to a private school when I used to goto High School mostly because like you said "the school is filled with nothing but rich fuckheads.....". What did you get a scholarship for?

That is exactly like my school. We have the voucher system in Ohio which is going to get abolished next year and many of our students are on vouchers.

Most of the people that pay to go to my school are lower middle class. They think I'm rich because I am regular middle class and this is private shool btw.

The reason why everyone in your school is lower middle class is precisely because they are only there on vouchers like you said. Every private school I have seen is full of rich fuckheads unless its in a bad neighborhood like Philadelphia where anyone who wants a decent education HAS TO GO to a catholic school.

If you would read my post. I said 3/4 of my ENTIRE school is not on vouchers but my grade is about half. We are one of the smallest grades too.

Wow, the community college around here (Montgomery County Community College) is the 5th best in America and is only $3000 a year for 2 years. I'm actually thinking about going there and transfering. Most of the public colleges in Pennsylvania run about $15-20k a year, and private are up to five times that. However, many private schools give out much more scholarship and need-based aid to students, just for those not familiar with the US system.
