Prettys sure that Putin's party will win. If it doesn't, I'll be all the more suspicious.

Putin's third term is inevitable! I've been saying this since before the last election!
It therefore follows that his party will win too

Are you talking about the president elecitons where Putin will win, or the parliamentary one where tough Putin party wont do as strong before this will play into his favor.

Well I managed to turn the topic from Putin's party to Putin himself, but as you can see above, I clearly understood that the thread was not about the presidential election. That third sentence was most certainly not added later!

United Russia has lost support since last elections. And if elections are fixed, results wont be far from actual numbers for they need to seem legit. What ever the case Putin has shown time and again that he is VERY capable leader. In some ways I envy the progress Russia made under Putin compared to Finland and I think I can speak for many of you too. That being said, Putin should have not ran for third term...

It was easier for Putin to make progress considering how fucked up it was.
Finland can't make as much progress as it has already reached max level.

Why are not African or Asian countries making any progress? And yeah we wont make as much progress per say, but Putin in my opinion is more "effective" president than Halonen

Putin will turn Russia into a police state where it isn't safe for anyone.

O.k this election is about the Parliament not the presidential which Putin will win.

First of all the united Russian party (aka Putin's Party) will win the majority if not the vast majority of the Russian vote, but the other parties getting in are the real question. The most important party getting in other then united Russia is the Russian communist party; its self a very nationalist party and many members of the communist party want the glory days of the soviet union, so there going to stress that Putin become more nationalistic then he is now. Not to mention most members of the communist party of Russia like Putin and support him. the other important party the liberal party of Russia also gives support to Putin and has voiced many time to be nationalistic.

Its Putin's grand strategy for a manged "democracy"

So pretty much they have no chance of ever winning, because Putin will win in Russia.

Putin is the worse politician to ever come into Russia, any Russian who supports him has no idea what he's doing, his presidency is the sole reason i have no connection to the country--- A quote from my Russian teacher.
