I dropped German as soon as I could, in favor of Latin. It has little to do with the subject itself, my teacher was a fucking pedophile, so as a guy, it was impossible to get good grades.

another nation that deserves to be admired is Sweden. they went through a couple large wars to be one of the most peaceful countries on the planet.

And how about Denmark and Norway... they've also been through numerous wars in the past (mostly with Sweden)...

Master races? That sounds like something sci-fi.

I guessed. So you're a Bayerner? What do you think of the Netherlands, actually?

The netherlands reminds me of something like Maine here in the U.S. tranquil and nice, friendly people.

...I don't really see the connection to my post, but hey! You like the Netherlands, awesome.

Really, I'm surprised about how many people like the Netherlands and the Dutch. I tend to hear we tend to be very unpersonal (although in the east they're much more kind, I've noticed, maybe that's it) and cheap...the latter's bullshit, though. I think of us as people who don't feel the need to pay more than needed.

Haha. "It is considered impolite (not to mention illegal) to enter a house without being invited to."
    Who would like that?

The Apache? They hid in the mountains for a few hundred years until they slowly lost the war of attrition. They would've lost sooner, but it turns out it's easy to fight colonists who are generally are lightly armed and with almost no combat experience.

Of course when the army started getting in they had problems. Their defeat was inevitable when colonization was over and Arizona was basically(not officially though) another US State.

Why the Netherlands? What did we do in history except suppressing Indonesians and trading African slaves?

They are such cowards because they managed to successfully fend off a fucking colossus for years? They were even pissing about when the Spaniards arrived. Not to mention that almost all of the other native Americans had either been massacred, displaced or deported. Their entire culture had been stamped out and they still resisted up passed the 1900s. That is impressive.
