I know that you are supposed to burn the American Flag instead of throwing it out. What I was talking about was someone just buring the flag because they want to make a statement. They can legally burn it but your not gonna make people happy by doing it.
Destroying the flag which represents your country, doesnt really mean that burner of the flag hates the ideals or political views on things. He/she can be just burning the flag because he/she is pissed off and sees the burning flag as a way out to express his/her feelings outwards.
U.S.C. §Title 36 Chapter 10 §175. Position and manner of display No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America Edit: Also Texas doesn't have the unique right to fly it's flag at the same level, all state's can do that.
Well it's the law brah. Why do I drive the speed limit when I could get to places much faster if I didn't? On flag law though, it's supposed to mean more then just a piece of fabric, and does to a lot of people. So we made some laws to make people show respect to something that's supposed to be symbolic of our nation.
Damn symbolism, and I say we burn all American flags that are made in China. Damn Chinese Communist bastards thinking they have a right to make the flag of Freedoms and Big ol trucks.........AMERICA: FUCK YEAH. http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/faq.htm (It's about Flag etiquette)

I remember when I went to Boston I saw a McDonald's flag that was higher and lager than the American flag.
That's because McDonald's is america, and you will serve your master Ronald MacDonald and all the Corporate imperialism via big macs.
