I am damn excited for this. Generals is my favorite C&C game. But I am disappointed to see that the designs of the aircraft are "futuristic". I liked the realism of the units in C&C Generals and bringing in "futuristic" things into generals is going to irritate me to no end. I don't want to use banshees in C&C!

I honestly could not have dreamed up a better game. Generals reboot (my favourite in the series)? Check. PC exclusive (the best platform)? Check. Frostbite 2 (the best engine)? Check. Bioware (my fav game dev)? Check.

I'ts being made by a new studio called Bioware Victory, which is comprised of team members who have worked on previous C&C games, shooters, action games, and RPGs.

Realism? O right, like microwave tanks, tractors that spray glowing green goo, and the enormous laser cannon super-weapon that was in the original Generals. The Command and Conquer series has always bent realism (or in the case of Yuri's revenge, bent realism over and fucked it in the ass), even for the time period in which the game was set, and I wouldn't have it any other way, because that normally means interesting gameplay elements. And anyway, those helicopters really weren't that futuristic, they looked like they could be an evolution of the V-22 Osprey, an aircraft that is 20 years old.

I would say C&C has its own form of realism which is just as awesome as... uh.. Realism.

Amazon here I come! I loved the old days, when I could sit and play all the classic command and conquer titles for hours. I love the series and I think Generals 2 will be pretty kickass.

They look like banshees to me. Yea I know that some things in the game are bent realism, but most of them I can see in real life, like battlemasters, dragon tanks, tactical nukes, scorpion tanks, and most of the US stuff. That stuff. The green goo tractors and S.P.U.D missiles are stupid in my opinion.

Only problem with the Frostbite 2 engine is that it's unmoddable apparently.

I hope China is still in the game (despite the first one getting banned over there), I loved playing as them. WE STAND TOGETHER! Also kinda stoked that Bioware is involved, hope to see a great story in the campaign like they usually do with their games (with the exception of Dragon Age 2 of course).

Nope, 100% PC exclusive. It would make the end result better anyway.

    DAMNIT!

    I like RTS too!..

Couldn't they have scaled the game down a bit for the 360 like Dice did with BF3?
