    No flashy sigs should be banned for they are a safety concern. The rest are fine.

    to be clear what passed was gifs with rapidly flashing colors and varying degrees of brightness..... Gifs will still be permissible

    Well 50 million total.
    2/3rds are from developing countries. As 0% of our forum is from developing countries, there are 16,5000,000 possible epileptic peoples that could read our site.

    Now, there are, at most, 600 active members, lurkers included, that browse our forum.
    50,000,000 of 6,900,000,000 people are epileptic: ~0.007% of the world.
    600 x 0.0007 = .42 people are epileptic on this forum (mathematically of course).

    Even if it prevents 1 single person who decides to read our site and has epilepsy from having a seizure 1 single time then the rule is worth it. The safety of those who visit our site should be our top priority.
