The more you say The Netherlands, the more people say Holland. No matter how far you push your agenda foreword.

They're called the Lower Countries, I believe. Which I can understand gets confused with the Netherlands. Still, the region is either called The Lower Countries or the Benelux, the countries are called The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium, and the two provinces in the Netherlands are called North Holland and South Holland.

Just like how the continent is North America and the countries are The US, Canada, Mexico and then you have a bunch of tiny states which I might be able to name all of them, but I can't be arsed.

At least I suggested "dutchland" instead of "the Netherregion".

There are a lot more countries in North America than America, Canada, and Mexico.

The fact that he explicitly listed countries as separate from states, and that he had previously listed in the order of continent->country->province indicates that he was not referring to other nations, but to states/provinces/territories.

That's an error on my part, I did mean countries like Honduras and Belize, I mixed those words up, my bad.

Yea, I was mainly joking around with the names, but I would like to see an alternative name for "The Netherlands". Any ideas from a Dutchman?

The only one who thinks Netherregion sounds badass.
