    Gifs that are in signatures should be put in spoilers if their are any more than one, then it's one visible, one spoiler-ed. No more than 2 in a sign though.
    Post with more than 2 GIFs need to be put in spoilers, with no more than five spoiler-ed in a single post. Double posting rules should keep the growth of GIF heavy posts under tabs and they can always be cleaned up later.

    So, one GIF in a sig can be shown. If there are two, one must be spoilered. Post with more than two GIFs, the rest must be spoilered?

    No. GIF's should be in spoilers, period. Most people now have only one GIF, so it really wouldn't solve anything.
