I used to love TF2. I mean like 2 hours a day love. It was a pretty good game but lately it has been a TOTAL PEICE OF FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really do not see the appeal. It was O.K a couple months but when people play the game they are eithier giant noobs or pros that kill you from across the map 20 times. It takes up so much room on my computer and lags too easily for me. The hats I can go on forever about and its basiclly a game of luck and Valve just trolls you. There are Sooooo many items and whenever I get an item its eithier shit or something I already have! Also its just a giant marketing trick to try to make you buy more games from Valve and Steam like " Oh if I preorder X game I will get Y hat! " You get so many items too like you got 4-5 items for buying Deus-Ex. I mean its just ridiculas! There are only 6 maps that come with the game too! You have to BUY new maps. I don't mind that in COD and BF becuase you get like 5 new maps and you get 20 maps when you just buy the game! They have holiday maps every 3 weeks or so. I know some people may disagree and some will agree. I am uninstalling the game now. I know this was a long post and you proably didn't read it all and I'm sorry but I really get pissed at games sometimes. I proably over reacted but I get really angry at games sometimes. I once threw a half empty soda can at the wall because i got mad at a game... HALF EMPTY.... still han't forgave myself yet.
There's your problem. You saw it as half empty when you should have seen it as half full. Maybe if you looked at things the right way you wouldn't be posting a rant that most wont care about.
It says you CAN play without purchasing anything but how many fun is half a dozen maps? Also Yes you can get alot through luck and crafting but of course its luck to get the items to craft and 70% of the time you get a shity weapon/hat
Considering how you don't know anything about the game my guess is that you're just trying to cause another CoD vs. BF style meaningless squabble. You don't have to buy maps (in fact that is impossible) and the server owners can use any custom maps they want. There are far more than six maps which come with the game by default, just have a look. Some of the maps are developed by valve and other maps are developed by members of the community. If you so choose you can buy "stamps" which go to support the original authors of the community maps. Buying stamps does not grant you access to the maps. In other words, HERP DERP N44b FAG UNINSTALL THE GAME LOLZ!
You do realize if you get something you don't want you can trade it or craft it into something else? They aren't forcing you to pre-order games if you don't to you can also just get the hats another way.
So what your saying is the entire mechanics of the game changed in 20 months? And really no one is pro at TF2. I mean you can get a little better or so and in 1v1 you'll shine, but to really do well in the game you need to be a strong team. A single person wont make a difference if the rest of the team still sucks. Thus, sucking and being good evens out very well. If your talking about the snipers that hide well and such, then it's your own damn fault. Pick one of the other classes to counter them or change your approach. That's the whole thing, everything can be countered by something else. Lag usually isn't a global problem, and the room usually comes from too many custom maps. Steam likes to create a million temporary files though, so you just have to clean the gutters every once and a while. Then your unlucky. Big whoop. The well done dropping system means you can get more items if you want too simply by playing. Not to mention one of the greatest economies in gaming history. If you dislike your item, make it into scrap or trade it. Sure that's hard if your Free to Play, but stop mooching. No one buys a game for more than $5 simply for a TF2 Hat. They may pre-order what they might not though. Deus Ex was an isolated incident. Most cases you get 1 or 2. Valve wanted to make a half-update as well. That's completely false. TF2 has a HUGE supply of maps. If anything, too many, and it clogs up peoples' computers
I hate it to, it's a piece of shit. I hate it because my computer sucks ass, so I can't play it. Therefore, it is a piece of trash. Oh, he'll need more than the hat to see purple... Give him what you're on.
I hate TF2 becouse it did take a shitload of space on my PC and when I downloaded it it was when it got free and the download took a good 4 hours+plus the updates took a shitload of time too. I wanted to join a serever but the game just froze every bloody time+plus when finally I got in it was laggy as shit.So I uninstalled it. But before I played the PC version I played it on the PS3 as my friend gave me the Orange Box for a week.I gotta say the PS3 version without the updates was better by a mile.But then people started to hack and it was ruined.
