I went with Imperial in the end (personally) because there is no evidence to suggest that Talos is a divine, he may be the best emperor of all but he was never a divine, however he can still be used as a source of inspirational felling.
I would like to see the entirety of Tamriel under Mer rule. The separation of Skyrim from the Empire will make the Empire weak and ready for conquering. The Thalmor are a great way to drive towards that goal, but they will have to purpose once Tamriel is in Mer hands as they are too brutal and extreme for peace. In Valenwood some clans still have deep seeded hatred of the Thalmor. Mer and Men (and beastfolk) can live peacefully, but not yet much work needs to be done.
So slavery of the entire human races of Skyrim, including all who speak against it. Mind you every time the dummer have had control over Tamriel they have enslaved the people as well as they have full attention of doing so again. Glory to Alessia the leader of the slave rebellion that caused the empire On this we can agree, its why I am against the Stormcloak dogs and there little rebellion. What we need is another rise of the empire.
The khajit are part of the domminion. They joined in because the domminion freed them from the empire and claimed to get the moons back.
The Khajit are client states of the Dominion and though you might find an empire camp here and there. the Dominion are still in charge. Actually lets break everyone down Cyrodiil- the empire has broken up there into a bunch of little city states all really controlled by the Dominion who have client Imperials doing there dirty work. I wonder if there will ever be a fourth Empire Black Marsh- Home of the Argonian race, they have left the empire and now have conquered the majority of Morrowind, though there are not friends of the dominion they are not enemies either....at the moment. Elsweyr- Home of the Khajit, after the oblivion crises it collapsed into two client states under direct control of the Dominion and they really support the High elves goal. Hammerfall- home of the Redguard, they really hate both the dominion for trying to conquer them (which they beat back) and the empire for giving up so easily. Propley one of the view groups that have defeated the Dominion. High rock- home of the Breton, they are still an Imperial state though really they more busy fighting each other to really care about anything else. Morrowind- home of the dunmer, or it least it was until red mountain erupted and the Argonians invaded. Now most of what is left of the "dark elves" have moved to near by provinces leaving the Argonians to rule over the land. Skyrim- Home of the Nordic people, they are currently going over a civil war one faction supports the empire and the other does not. Summerset isle- Yeah High elves, they rule all of you pretty much. Valenwood- home of the Wood elves, and now a part of the dominion. Orsinium- the unofficial home of the Orcs who will fight for any of the sides. As long as the money is good.
I think Hammerfall declared independence. I'm expecting some twist like a Sload or Akaviri invasion that will cripple the Aldmeri Dominion.
It ain't easy being Khajit, have a country name elsweyr, " Where are you from?" " Elseweyr.." "What?" " Elsweyr!!!" Plus a moon sugar addiction, and people pulling on their tails..
First playthrough I was a Khajit sneaky assassin DB guy. Didn't touch the main quest or civil war at all. Got to lvl 26 before I decided to make a new character. Second was an Orc blacksmith with two-hand and heavy armor. Sided with Stormcloaks and basically did the whole civil war in an all nighter session. Did a little bit of the main quest and the whole companion thing before I just got tired of the "two-handed ebony clad tank" gig. Right now I'm doing a Breton necromancer. Haven't done much past a few college quests.
I see Khajit as more like really shifty Arab-type traders, what with their caravans and the way the locals don't trust them. I can't believe they pretty much called it 'elsewhere'
Khajit are obviously South Slavs. That's why every NPC seems to have a word to assign to them, like "cat" and some really debilitating ones like "I can't believe we let Provincials like you wander Skyrim". These grievous insults are below the belt, more so than any other race. Personally, I hate those Breton dicks. I also hate them IRL.
