So yeah this video will kill your brain, it is basically Miss USA contestants being asked if evolution should be taught in schools.
Most weren't THAT bad, only Alabama (who would've thought?) and Washington were being monumentally stupid. The others mostly said "Well, just teach both sides and let people decide themselves", which is a lot better than what you usually hear from Americans.
Well, what I tend to hear is either "Yerp derp God is everything don't ever question the Bible", or "Yerp derp you fucking bigots you're all wrong yada yada". There are people that say there is no US culture. However, it seems to be it's a culture of extremes, black or white, without grey. Of course, there are plenty of people (most of which reside on the interwebz) who're normal, decent and tolerant people who don't think like this, but it is the impression I get.
It wasn't that bad, I mean they haven't cast a shining beam of light on us, but they weren't stupid either.
Yeah... kind of blanked out listening to a few but they don't seem to be THAT bad in their responses. Starting off with Nevada made it worse for the rest. However, Kentucky looks good, and Georgia gets an honorary mention.
