Also if you ever join the military and get deployed with a dutch contingent. Make sure to befriend either the dutch logistics officer or the cook. In my time i was in SWISSCOY (part of KFOR) i never ever used one swiss field ration. Make sure to get a few field rations from the dutch. Because that stuff is actualy really nice (in field rations terms). I used to trade my spare ammo (gp90/5.56 nato cartridge but better) for that. Also as a free tipp on top of that make sure to allways stay at least 10 meters away from the english field rations. Somebody(probably the french), started a rumor that those rations are leathal for anybody with taste. As a joke we told the british to send free food to the serbs protesting in the village, but a german hauptman claimed that that would be an act against the geneva convention, much to the disliking of an english officer who stormed out of the strategic evaluation meeting. We had to wait for 1 hour till he came back. but enough side tracking But my main point is, dutch military food rocks.

I wonder what would have happened if the three countries would have teamed up on Great Britain. That would have had a big effect on the course of world history. I guess all three countries kinda hated each other... Was it really that big? I heard it was big, but I thought the Dutch media was just exaggerating. Where were you stationed? In Serbia?
Well either the US would of never became a country or it would of taken a longer time for us to become a country, but as you stated all three countries kind of hated Great Britain. In away Spain, France, and the Netherlands used the American Revolution as a good way to get back at Great Britain.
But I meant Spain, France and the Netherlands kind of hated each other. Spain and NL for obvious reasons, but by then, NL and France have had a few wars too. I'm not so sure about France and Spain, though.

France and Spain were mostly allies in the 17th and 18th century... I think they had one war during the early years of Louis XVI and one a few years after the French revolution...
But it seems the Spanish and the French share a nice lack of wars with each other, Propley cause there both Catholic.
