Well, Dragonball Z fights usually last 50 episodes, 40 of which are continuous shouting, 3 are fast punching which does absolutely nothing, 6 are charging a fucking hand laser, and in the end, the guy who changed hair colour most (I'm surprised it doesn't turn grey) wins. In this time, Superman probably would've saved the world three hundred times, punched fifteen thousand villains in the face, and melted Goku away with his eye lasers about twenty times.
Never watched much of Dragon Ball Z, but your comment gives a good description of what I have seen... Edit: Oh! I just realized that there was also a Dragonball movie!
Never seen it, but I can imagine it being terrible. I wasn't complaining. I was expressing my opinion in a very direct way.
No it doesn't. While both are about as interesting as snails racing, Superman has at least some variety, as in Superman doesn't randomly shout for fifty episodes in a row for no apparent reason, nor does this shouting magically change his hair colour.
They have both that concept of a man who realizes that he is not just a man and has some greater destiny... But Dragonball is just ridiculous compared to Superman...
