Why is nudity a bigger taboo than violence?

This has always boggled my mind I already heard a few jokes that says Sexual Harassment is a bigger crime than Murder. Does anyone has an answer to this question?

From what I understand, it depends where you go.
In the US, violence is more acceptable than nudity.
In European countries, nudity is more accpetable than violence.

In Europe everyone is naked and its accepted, in the united states.....well think of the fucking children.
