A faction emerges in Eastern Canada named the Vancouver Reminents [you can see that I will not be being very original].
King Ryn Valerian waves at the courier, telling him to proceed. The courier guides the oarsmen to a building that was specially maade to receive foreign guests, in large numbers. It was adjacent to the actual concrete palace. For the first time, the king spoke, as he walked beside the men, in his deep voice. "Our boats float based off the principle of us not stripping them. We may gut the inside of everything, but those boats are a reminder of how great this area of the former west used to be. Keeping them is both a boost to morale, and at the same time, a good reserve stockpile of metsl if we're ever in a pinch". He turned sideways, down a main street, the courier uhnderstanding the move fully, and resuming his step, at the head of the group of foreigners, the king, and the Honor Guard. "Now, about that food," he said, as he walked into a large, concrete building, which seemed to go back for a long time. He walked through the antechamber/annex, and then into the actual main food storage areas, which was quite a sight to see. Literally tons of food were stacked up along the buildings interior in rows, each row filled with food that's either refrigerated, or pickled, while tons of even more grain was in a solid wall along the back wall itself. "As ypu can see," he said, walking padt rows of refrigerators of lettuce, tomatoes, cabbage, and so on, leading up to the wall of grain," we have quite a lot of food that can be used to feed people. Interested in buying some?"
The Vancouver Reminents begin to construct naval shipyards and dispatch soldiers south to investigate rumors of opposition.
The captain spoke up after being in awe of the amount of food "Yes, we would like to buy some. We want 100 heads of lettuce, 10 baskets of tomatoes, and 5 sacks of grain. We have around 1200 bottlecaps in exchange as well as 300 coins in american coinage."
Seeking to stabilize the new region, the Union begins setting up a bureaucracy that will keep areas in line. A Supreme Commander shall be one man to rule them all. Generals shall be appointed by the Supreme Commander and do whatever they wish to raise armies. Regional Governors shall be appointed by the Supreme Commander, as well. They will lord of regions. Minor Governors shall be appointed by the Regional Governors, and will lord over several settlements. Mayors shall be appointed by Minor Governors and lord over a single settlement. The Union shall do whatever it takes to assimilate, conquer, and merge with local tribes. Slowly pressing its own Mayors and Minor Governors on them.
The horncrushers have begun to farm in the fertile lands they found. Some tribals not far have come before them to unite becouse they have almost no resources. We accept their joining but we won't stay there for long. We are planning to take over the city of New Reno and it's surroundings.
A few days later, the boat on the way to New Zealand has stumbled upon an island chain. The islands are relatively small and there are three of them. Only one tribe is there and they agree to them uniting with us. They call the island chain "Samoa".
The boatsmen get provisions and a long rest on Samoa for the long ride to New Zealand. They notice that there is a mine on one of the islands. No doubt that the metals will be valuable for trade. The boatmen get back in the boat and head off for New Zealand.
"This is not acceptable. We do not trade in pre war currency, or bottlecaps. We trade in goods only. Obsidian, food, and wood is not needed by us. When you have something to trade that we would find worthwhile, you may come back." He waved to a few of his extra guards, and told them to escort the foreigners to there house. "You will stay there for one night. If you still have not found anything on your island to trade, you will leave." The guards escorted them away.
The tribes have resattled outside New Reno. There were some assassinations of key defenders and other personnel before we attacked. We have rushed them from Golgotah. The mob bosses were promied that their buisnesses will remain untouched if they assissted us.In the fight only 12 people died. The city is now under Horncrusher control. The mob bossess have requested to make a council to governing more easier. Some scouts have found an abandoned mining sattlement east of New Reno. All houses were rotting and empty. Some skeletons have been found in a house. It was nothing like a human one.More stronger and bigger. In the same house a note was laying there saying"All remaining inhabitants of Broken Hills please go to the marked location if you want to see the your old pals in New Vegas" From that we gather that the sattlement is called Broken Hills. Some settlers have been sent to rebuild the place and itake it. OOC:Guys I'm going for a skiing break from tomorrow to saturday please give me a report of thingsa that happened when I come back+please don't take my territory away while I'm inactive.
The Captain says "We will not be staying for the night. You have offended us by saying that our most valuable goods are useless to you. We are merchants, insult our wares and refuse to let us buy goods, then we leave you. We will leave tonight for more useful traders up north." With that, the captain ordered his men to board the boat. He pull out one of his "Compasses" to tell where north is, and then ordered his men to row north. (Basically you refused to trade and let us buy goods, so you are deemed to be a useless trade partner. We will not be trading with you anytime soon.) The captain pulls out a map of Vancouver. That is where he will be heading.
The guards were going to shoot them as they left, but decided against it. They returned to King Valerian and told him of the situation. He was fine with it, as they did not have anything useful to trade.
OOC: I don't think that's realistic since the Hawaiian Islands are in the Middle of the Pacific and your going along the Northwest coast of America. How about, the Vancouver Reminent finds a map, showing the location of the Hawaiian Islands?
The captain stops on occasion for trading and resources. So far, he has gathered 20 heads of lettuce, 5 bags of grain, 2 baskets of tomatoes, 10 cheap rifles, 30 boxes of bullets, a 50. cal revolver, 5 boxes of 50. cal pistol rounds, and a carton of cigarettes. The food will be useful at home, the guns will be quite new for our military back home, and the revolver will make sure that people will think twice before trying to shoot the captain. The captain has counted the rest of the money they have left and decides that they have enough to trade at Vancouver. OOC: I'm not sure how you would find a map of Hawaii. Unless you find a WW2 museum or a travel brochure, it's not likely.
OCC: True and untrue. Though they are Canadian, they WERE occupied by the US during the war and I assume that they would have some ship tech lying around. And remember, as the custodian of the neutral factions, my duty is to create for players problems where none existed before. LOL.
OOC: Your faction better not invade me with the "Tribal conquest" casus belli. Because I got the "They are canadia bastards" casus belli on you, which is the most valid casus belli of them all. we got obsidian tomahawks, what do you have, guns?! PAHHH!!
