It takes a long time to calm nationalist tensions. Even I was brought up a nationalist. Calling everybody "scum" isn't really helping to ease the solution.

Who wants to go to a place when its peaceful, There is so much you can see and write about when there is war going on and you get a first hand experience of the average day life of the people. But as of know the situation in the Balkans is alot more peaceful then it was when it all started and most of the people who issued the orders to commit Bosnian ethic cleansing (I would claim Genocide however international court has not thus i have to say it was not) have been found, infact one of the Generals is standing trial for crimes against humanity

Well I like going to places where I don't risk getting killed or shown on international TV. I just want to enjoy the peace and don't have to deal with people talking about the serbians, or bosniaks, or croatians, or any other damn conflict in that damn area.

Going to any place of ethic clashes and former wars that are still in the minds of the people your going to get that. Heck go to the Congo and they will talk like well during Mobutu and well during the Rwanda civil wars. International television doesn't care about that stuff there more interested on what food a celebrity is eating or what chick a president is secretly fucking.
