I mostly want more interesting things that will happen to each gender in video games. Like different interactions with people in the game based on your gender.
I guess I wont lock this, lets keep this thread going! I think its fine for a guy to play tomb raider or Skyrim as a girl but it does get a little creepy when they are like 10 or make them look like pornstars.
How is this a problem? I often play female characters notably in Left 4 Dead where I always play Zoey.
Virtually all of my MMO characters are female, but I don't ever pretend to be a girl playing them. The reason is primarily aesthetic.
I played Dragon Age: Origins twice, once as a male character, and once as a female. I prefer to play male however, it is good in Character driven games such as that to play as a range of characters in order to get the maximum experience from the game!
I think it's completely justified to play as the other gender. Hell, we could play as Italian plumbers, but not as a normal woman?
Yeah that brings up another point, why can we justify playing as another nationality. I should only be able to play as a Polish-America/other living in the united states and worshiping the dutch and doing whatever the mods command of me. NOW THATS A GAME.
I want a game based in 2011- 2019 when a american CIA agent and 4 russian terroists shoot up a russian airport which makes Russia ( AKA New Soviet Union ) invade the US in 2 days and takes the capitall but only holds it for 6 days then the US turns off all power in DC and then Russia invades Germany, Czech republic, France, Poland, and New York and gets kicked in the dick by a squad of russian rebels, USMC troops, former SAS units, and some fucking russian. Then the russian president tells the world sorry and then they attack the russian terrorist who persuaded him and assumed miltirary control of the New Soviet Union and then he dies in a mass of 13 quick time events after killing all his troops. Ahhh if only that game existed. I would call it... TEAM FORTRESS 2!!!
I believe that it is completely illegitimate for people to play as another gender. We should create concentration camps (but not death camps, because then I'd get an infraction) for all those who do. Death to the trans-gaming ones!
