So, for those of you with the PC version, Skyrim online is already out, in a Beta form. So far, not everything is synchronized, and it isn't exactly feature-packed. But it's being updated quite rapidly, and has a really active dev team. So, I was thinking, we should start an NKVD server, and play together. Here are the links, if you are interested - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3592 http://skyrim-online.com/ I'm just downloading the mod now, and I will update this thread when I get some more infoz Edit: It occurs to me that when the SCK comes out, we will literally be able to make our own villages, and cities. We can also apply other mods to the game, such as hunger mods, farming mods, crafting mods, and all that. So, that will be really awesome.
Think there not going to have it like the story, hell i hope they don't make everybody the dragon born cause that would be weird.
Wait, what's stopping me from using console commands in single player mode to make a character's stats maxed out and joining a server?
When this mod gets more polished this is going to be so epic. We all call several Odahviings together and slaughter everything.
Bumping the thread so I can post an idea - So, when the next version of Skyrim online comes out, we should get a server using RTS, and maybe some hunger/thirst mods - Then we can build our own towns/forts (In-game, no SKC needed) , and do a Capitalist vs Communist faction wars type thing - Like the one in minecraft. How awesome would that be?
That does sound kind of interesting. I don't have Skyrim myself, but I am planning on getting it in the next Steam sale. Now let's hope I don't end up hating it as much as I hated Oblivion.
WHAT THE FUCK! Will Xbox be getting Multiplayer too? Oh for fuck sakes, if I don't I'll be so pissed off. It's one thing that we can't have so much as a little piece of the game engine to create our own shit, not even in a Far Cry type style (Far Cry 2 let us build our own maps!) but now we won't be getting the priviledges to a particular game which these consoles were meant for in the first place? Man, I swear, if Bethesda is such a dick as to not grant the Xbox version of Skyrim multiplayer, I'd never buy any Bethesda product again.
It's a mod, as far as I can tell. Unless Bethesda picks it up themselves, I doubt it'll go anywhere but the pc.
The multiplayer is a community created mod, and has no official suppourt. The Skyrim Creation Kit however is completely separate and is the official tools released by Bethesda for anyone create content. They're the actual tools Bethesda used in the creation of the actual game, so they're pretty complex and thus on the PC only.
