The Quasi-War was an undeclared war fought mostly at sea between the United States and French. It started when the French navy began seizing American ships trading with Britain. In April 1798, President Adams informed Congress of the "XYZ Affair", in which French agents demanded a large bribe for the restoration of diplomatic relations with the United States. The war ended in 1800 when Napoleon took over France.

The Mexican American war is used to fire nationalism towards the USA that blinds the people from there corrupt government

I am pretty sure a lot of people know about this war, since you know...the americans stole half of the mexican territory.
