Hello Comrades, For the past few days I have been thinking and finally decided to act upon a theory of mine. Would it not be cool if the NKVD clan had an anthem to accompany it's greatness? After pondering this idea for quite some time I formulated a rough draft of sorts for a song that would fit the NVKD's persona. I took the famous song "The Red Flag" and added 2 extra stanzas to it to try and make it fit the persona of the clan. The song is sung to the tune of "Oh Christmas Tree" the popular Christmas song. If you like it or if you think it is a stupid idea please let me know through direct posts on the forum or Personal Messages. Perhaps someone could get Stalin's attention as well. Considering I do not have Shogun 2 due to lack of funds I feel I need to contribute in some ways to the NKVD clan, so here it is. The people's flag is deepest red, It shrouded oft our martyr'd dead And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold, Their hearts' blood dyed its ev'ry fold. Then raise the scarlet standard high, Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here. Through bitter winds and biting cold Our flag of crimson, we bravely hold When waved against our enemies They all shall fall down to their knees And through the sky our flag will soar A symbol that’s worth fighting for Threw blood filled day and frightful night It shall provide our source of might The hammer of the working class Were here to kick some Shogun ass The sickle of the peasants’ fate In total war, we dominate Out foes will drown in red blood sea They’ll bow to Stalin in defeat So once more comrades, to the breech! And raise the red flag to victory!
+1 All the though, Theme to Christmas tree.. Really? How bout the orchestra from the Russian Anthem? And we sing it in opera'ish voices. I would need a example of it originally in the Christmas theme..

That is a fucking epic anthem! I love the ending verse, which made me fucking laugh for about 10 minutes. LOL
I love it & I shall sing it and put some fancy animations to go with it - whenever I get a mic, Fruity Loops, animation software and video editing suite I will do this! - mark my words
I could try and get to composing some kind of classical choir piece for it instead of using already written music. Just a suggestion. I could write a musical piece aswell, but then we'd need an orchestra to play it... well we'd need a choir to sing it aswell anyways.
