I have grown to accept that Capitalism is not entirely evil it just needs to be alterated in a way, in what way I have yet to discover (maybe more syndicalist and fair trade) and as am I apart of the left, Center-Left to be exact. Mostly because the new conservative/right movement makes me want to punch something (which interest me as to why Stalin speaks so highly of classical conservatism, as I know nothing about it)

    But Social democracy FTW.

We have to admit in today's society capitalism has won because it goes after the very evil of mans soul. the best we can do is shape it into a more respectable world view that gives more freedoms to the working class.

I still go with socialism over capitalism.

Edit: Im still not going to be one of those "AHHHHHHH ALL COMMUNIST ARE EVIL AND BLAH CAPITALISM FOR LIFE" Type of people.

Defeat is when you admit it.

Then by that notion we will all die before we admit anything thus ruining the movement, the best we can do is do what we did to end child labor (although capitalist will never like to admit socialism had more to do with this anything else)

    we must mold capitalism.

I am not against molding Capitalism.

Depends on what you read. I know for a fact that the AP U.S. History textbook makes several mentions of contributions of Socialists during the Progressive Era, particularly that of Sinclare and his book.

I don't have U.S history until next year and I already have the reputation of being a revolutionary, especially cause I called my teacher a bourgeoisie fat cat and demanded the proletariats rise up.....they didn't sadly.

Ahh... yes. I recall an encounter with a rather... close-minded AP World History teacher. He said that Communism would not ever work due to the wants always outweighing the resources. No matter. He was... young.

My a.p world teacher is quite nice, although she fails to notice the difference between personal and private property and actually her arguments and use of the word byzantine remind me of kali too much.

But still everyone knows my fascination towards Fidel.

But the best on was "What is your fascination with the working class or the working people, you say you want to help them yet you let them like swine and they work harder under you pretense bullshit called communism all for the glory of the state, instead of raising the working class up or even bothering to try you go around enslaving everyone and using your imperialist aggression which you claim is class freedom, yet when another more capitalist nation does the same thing you are so quick to jump on it. you communist are so hypocritical it disgust me, you preach equality and the mass dictatorship by the proletariat, yet when anyone has a slight variation of opinion you quickly send of to your gulags. oh and don't get me started on your bullshit state television bias or communism fundamental views on religion, communist and there bastard child socialist disgust me with your inability to have a rational thought, you should go tell all your stupid communist friends and all the idiots who couldn't make it in a capitalist society to go live in china and see how they like it. byzantine swine i hope your ideologies are done for soon and you actually gain a brain and go to capitalism." end quote by teacher

(The rant left out some parts but pretty much yeah)

It also used bigger words then what i put up as well, just like kali vocabulary.

Off course capitalism isnt all bad, its just a phase in human development that served its purpose and is now starting to develop in a way that is impeding further development, hence the need for a more democratic system.

And you need to realize that when you reform capitalism your actions could just as well result in capitalism working worse then before because you are impeding on its core functions, thus actually causing more harm then good.

Oh definately; we must move onto the next stage that Marx promised for us. Any attempt to compromise is evil because it is neither a step towards communism nor a continuation of the wonderful free market stage! Reform would mean we turn off the road of development, and then presumably, any further advance will be impossible!
