    I speak English and I am currently learning Japanese. It's not nearly as hard as it looks from my experience.

    What until you enter some of its harder grammar and the dialects, then when you think you know a little you meet someone who knows more and they crush you. I wish my Japanese friend would teach me.

    Sushi, Banzai and Sayonara are the only things I know in Japanaese, LOL.

    I know yeah absolutely nothing, and I've watched more then my fair share of Japanese anime.

    I was doing pretty well in Japanese until excessive amounts of kanji in the second term (chinese characters) came over and proceeded to kick my ass one class after another. By the end of third term, I decided to switch to spanish abinitio the next year. Little did I know spanish I.B abinitio did not literally mean beginner spanish like I was told; I jumped straight into intermediate spanish. And that. Was that.
