I did her line and I thought it was good. Besides the missing her legs bit I could understand her troubles. I felt pretty good after it was done.
I can already see the TV ads. Critics have called it "a masterpiece" and "the game of the year"*. From the internet message board that brought you "lolcats" and "rickrolling" comes "Katawa Shoujo", the feel good** game of the summer! *Link's status as a critic is not in doubt, however the same shouldn't be said about his trustworthiness of delivering an objective opinion **based on a testimony by Chelsea366 that was taken out of context
I'm doing rin's storyline, and I like her smartassery. I just find it hilarious. But my heart is with Hanako forever.
So, I still don't really know how to do anything on the new website and I've never liked a post before. This is the first one. Funny stuff.
Well, the demand for the game as well as the original team came from 4chan after a stickied thread about it on /a/. That was like 5 years ago, so I wasn't around, but I first heard about the game on /v/ several months ago, and I had no idea what the fuck it was. I revisited it on the day of its release after seeing a few threads about it. I downloaded it because my internet kept going out and I was unable to play Starcraft. So, basically, people talk about it on 4chan/ my internet was being shitty at the perfect time and I needed something to do.
Please don't play this. /r/KatawaShoujo is bad enough. The fanbase for this game does not need to be atrocious.
I played Rin's storyline and I liked it a lot. Not as emotional as Hanako's, but it's still emotional. Figuring out her problem was great and at the end, it felt wonderful.
I'm just starting and although her occasional acts of randomness and smartass comments are both philosophical and funny, after so long im about to yell at her.
I actually loved her smartassery and I didn't mind about her confusing ramblings because I do that too.
