In answer to stalins question:

Robin exists to show batmans maternal side. Hes pretty poor until he turns into nightwing and then the second ones poor until he turns into red robin. Thereway robin exists to show batmans maternal fatherly side rather than just the cold hearted superhero.

At least thats what i was told by one of my friends whos a huge comic book nerd.

An entire topic over this seems excessive. But It's not my decision. To answers Spencer's question I think Robin is there to show Batman is more then just Batman that he can be kind and normal showing his fatherly side.

I do agree that its a tad excessive... but i didnt really know where else to place it where people could comment and agree or disagree. Plus i suppose we could just turn this into a "whos your favourite superhero" or insulting the crappy ones page when everyones done.

Robin is the comic relief. Also, Batman would get lonely if he had no one to talk to.

Oh the "Time to chill." and "you should...cool off" one? I remember that sadly... loved how the icicles where plastic and wobbled when ever they where nudged at the end...ahhh nightmares

I think I've watched about 5 minutes. They lost me when Batman and Robin were flying through space on fucking snowboards.
