I would tell you to try to make an alliance with one of them most likely Spain, has they can take care of Frances southern boarder. We can also try to make alliances with the Indians in North America just in case the British try something. As for trade, try to trade with as many countries as we can.

Well if it is fine with my minister of diplomacy and commissioner of warfare, I would like to take Dutch Guyana and use it as a base to take on the future Dutch colonies.

As a minister of construction, taking on North America first will lead to better control of the Americas and maybe later some factories there.
