I would like someone to give a legitimate reason to use against dota. All I hear is "dota is shit, dota 2 will be shit blah blah blah". If you cant make a comment about something wrong with the game design, concepts, art design, graphics, etc, then please don't talk. More often then not, if you don't like dota, its because your bad at it.

Dota = Pick a hero, run down one of three alleys, fight with other heroes, hotkey abilities.

Pretty much sums it up.

I never played DOTA WOW or Starcraft, I feel somehow alienated from the world now, because apperently this is really popular, I also didnt really like skyrim but thats because I dont really like RPG's.

I order you to at least buy Starcraft II....

Well i could say you had the horrible taste in games and that your religion is a fictitious piece of shit.

Sure, you could say that, but the vast majority of people disagree with you. As for religion, that's not particularly relevant, but you can believe whatever you want. I don't think you can defend any of your claims very competently. Anywho, you can't definitively state how DOTA is bad, all you can do is say it is, that is, unless you start pointing out design flaws, of which there are few.

So whys dota bad? Since there is evidently nothing wrong with it, just that the learning curve is high. Must be why so many butt hurt people are saying its bad, due to them being bad and or incompetent.

Christ, some of the game genres are getting ridiculously long. First we had explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate strategy games, then massively multiplayer online role-playing games, then third person sandbox style action adventure games, and now we have third person shooter action real time strategy games. I can't wait until we have a Yellow Online Unreal Action Roleplaying Energy Arcade Fun Ugly Console Kombat World Immersive Tactics game and someone officially coins and abbreviates it.
