No, it was Metalfest actually. Somewhere in East-Germany Strong Line Up though, for me at least. Amon Amarth, Sabaton, Wintersun, Arch Enemy, Destruction, Sodom etc.

But I was in Wacken last year, pretty sure I'll be there this year too

Sweet! I only really know a few bands, as I'm not the biggest fan of black and death metal, but I'll make sure not to miss Volbeat.

Lower Saxony, border to the Netherlands. A small town with about 9000 inhabitants.
Lived in bigger cities while studying though... Berlin, Frankfurt.
