I think this goes in Off Topic more than Political so here I go. Today my Social Studies Teacher started our WWII unit. We started to learn about the back story of the war. Her first question was who were the Communist leaders struggling for power. Someone said Stalin. She accepted their answer. In response to this I said Trotsky. She said no. I pondered her response as she announced the last leader no one was able to get... She says Adolf Hitler. According to my Social Studies Teacher, Adolf Hitler was a Communist leader. I am baffled. It wasn't just a slip up either. She calls him a Communist throughout the whole lesson. Now I ask. I believe she is completely in the wrong. Am I right? Also I would have called her out, but I have done that one too many times. The first time was when she said colonies didn't exist anymore, even thought the UN has a list of territories that are considered colonies.
Very simply put, your teacher was born in a nest on the very top branch of the stupid tree and one night she fell out, hitting her head on every branch on the way down.
What I want to know is how she became a teacher? She's confusing things that are polar opposites, fascism and communism. They're literally the exact opposite on the political scale. Fascism being the most extreme right wing ideology and communism being the most extreme of the left. If people like that are becoming teachers, that honestly scares me a little bit.
That is what I thought!!! She is one of the worst teachers I've ever seen. She thinks Hitler is a Communist, that Colonies don't exist anymore, that the Empire of Japan was Communist, that Obama is a Muslim, and Christianity deserves to be taught more than Islam and Judaism. Also there was this one time we were discussing the American Revolution and we were focusing on a certain battle. I asked if Bennidict Arnold was the commander. She said "We're not taking about Bennidict Arnold we are talking about the American Revolution".

Thats not quite true. She thought The Spanish Civil War happened during WW1, that Napoleon was involved, and then she mixed details of WW1 and WW2 up lmfao
well this kinda proves our educations system is in the shitter if idiots like these 2 are allowed to teach.
I have been in Public Schools all my life too and I am just now finding teachers like her. The worst I dealt with before was one teacher using a Waffen SS propaganda as a WWI propaganda poster. This lady is a whole new type of crazy!
I have been in the Public school system my entire now except for this year, and I always had smart free thinking, and cool teachers.
