I was going to comment on the juxtaposition of this statement and your previous one regarding evangelicals, but I think it's pretty self-explanitory.

Religion=reevaluate priorities??? That doesn't quite work. Your not supporting him because he believes in a religion? That doesn't make sense to me. The excuses came from his staff, but not himself directly.

If your beef with Perry is over his faith then this conversation no longer serves a purpose because I will make no head way. I have stated why I support him. Take it for what you want and move on. PM me if we have more to discuss. And about dodging economics I didn't see it. He can't help corporations controlling the agricultural climate in Texas. HE DID however when he served as Texas Agricultural Commissioner.

I always try not to derail threads. I really do. Most of my political posts will mention Rick Perry if they are about the 2012 election. It is just something I like to bring up. There is no need to discuss the Perry part of my posts. If we need we need a separate thread for the Governor then make it so, but I don't think we need to.

When a presidential candidate disables the comments for his campaign ad that he puts on youtube, then how can he really want the people's opininions? Also, he has defended the "Strong" Ad before. And I think Ron Paul, not Rick Perry is the biggest Republican supporter of states rights.
