    Should we start a forum book club?
    Personally, I think it's a great idea and it would bring some of the community closer. Any type of reading will do. I'm a very open person.

    It'd be nice, but a lot of initiatives like this wind up fizzling out. Also you have to consider a lot of us are already busy with school.

    Personally I'd like to talk about literature with you guys, but unless it's something I've already read, I wouldn't really have the time to read more

    Yeah thats the number one issue I see, However once spring break or summer break starts up then we could all read alot more.

    Why can't we just make it Casual? We can have a few leaders who can decide who leads that week, and if you can't read that week then just reply saying that you cant. Do you guys think that works?

    This book club thingy is very American invention (Or British, I don't care) To my understanding its work something like: A group of 4-9 (young) middle aged women gather round and that's about it. (Point & Case: WTF is this?)

    I'm with d3adtrap wtf is this bookclub thing? do you just talk to other people about what you read. Wouldn't it ber much more productive to just read more of the book instead of talking about what you allready read?

    I like talking about what we read. I mean, we do that anyway except with different variables. I mean we talk about what videos/ movies we've watched with our friends, we talk about what games we've played, and the music we've listened to. What makes books so much different? Is it that it's a stereotyped concept of women sitting around a table drinking coffee and regurgitating Oprah Winfrey?

    And what kind of book would you people read? I'm guessing you'd all be down with reading old classics and not modern shitty ones about the US military. I doubt any of you would have the concentration or time to read through a thousand-page novel in a week and report back to the forum about it. I've been reading The Brothers Karamazov for close to a month and I'm only about 500 pages in.
